No, my problem is I've downshifted. I'm doing the kind of work I did at the start of my career. For the last five or so years I've been doing SysAd-level work. I just took this job because I didn't want to be out of work but now that I'm here I'm getting really frustrated.

It's the kind of work I do, I'm doing tier 1 help desk after building up a career in system administration for my past few roles. I feel like being the frontline "flack" guy is just...not something I care to do anymore. Customer service is so aggravating now.

For me it definitely is. I think it has to do with my brain (being ADD-diagnosed).

I could down a glass of Mountain Dew before bed then fall asleep 10 minutes later. I only drink coffee in the morning because "that's what people do in the morning", it does very little to get my energy levels up.

This feels like one of those really annoying things that will get easier once your brain gets used to it.

Like at first you'll be tripping over yourself because you forgot to bring your reusable shopping bags with you when you go shopping but eventually it'll sink in and it won't be a big deal once you're used to the routine.

Well it's more like stating early. You set the bar for stuff like that and it sticks with the kids who take it to heart.

Personally I like working in an office but I have ADD and have always chalked it up to having a more focused atmosphere keeping me more on-task.

I do like having the option, though, especially when considering distance to the office (right now I'm pretty close to my office, which is nice, but I just don't like what I'm doing here).
